The Lincoln MKX has the power to keep your ambitions in high gear. The MKX 3.5L Duratec V-6 engine produces a lively 265 hp and 250 lb.-ft. of torque. Excellent launch and acceleration performance are delivered by an all-new, class-exclusive 6-speed automatic transmission, which actually adapts to your driving style to tailor shifts accordingly. Add the optional Class II Trailer Tow Package, and Lincoln MKX can tow up to 1588 kg (3500 lbs.).

For more capability in all weather conditions, Lincoln MKX All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) models feature the Intelligent AWD system that makes any drive even more exhilarating. This on-demand AWD system constantly monitors driver and vehicle inputs, predicts traction, and delivers the appropriate amount of torque to all four wheels, reacting before wheel slippage can even occur. together with standard AdvanceTrac® with RSC® (Roll Stability Control), it can transfer torque both front to rear and side to side, keeping Lincoln MKX moving even if only one wheel has traction.

HEADLAMPS THAT TURN WHEN YOU DO

Picture this scenario. It’s late at night. You're in the country. The road twists and turns. There are no street lamps lighting the way. As you navigate unfamiliar curves, your headlamps - your- only source of light - pivot with each turn of the steering wheel. That’s exactly what will happen with the available adaptive headlamps on the all-new Lincoln MKX.

Based on steering wheel angle and vehicle speed. motorized halogen low-beam projector headlamps turn in the same direction that Lincoln MKX is turning. The results are quite illuminating. When compared to conventional headlamps, this simple action of swiveling in the direction of the turn makes nearly 11 more metres (36 ft.) of the upcoming road.way visible around a curve. You’ll see better at night, and have more time to react to obstacles or traffic ahead.

From the rear, other drivers will clearly see Lincoln MKX because o. the illumination of its elegant rear lighting panel. 16 Light-Emitting Diodes (LEDs) flank the prominent Lincoln Star that centres the rear liftgate, while a high-mounted stop lamp in the rear spoiler and brake lights at the corners quickly let others know of your braking intentions.

A crescent moon. Massive skyscrapers. A canopy of stars. The first snowflakes of the season. With the optional panoramic, all-glass Vista RoofTM these views and more are available on every drive. A large forward moonroof provides an expansive opening to the sky, while a fixed rear panel gives rear seat passengers an
outside view as well. -

Encompassing nearly 40% of the total roof area, the Vista Roof creates a daylight opening that’s over three times larger than a traditional moonroof. In its fully open position, this invigorating feature provides a maximum total daylight opening of 8361 sq. cm (9.0 sq. ft.). That’s a lot of sky, or stars, or fireworks.

Open the forward moonroof to either of its two positions and a wind diffuser raises automatically to limit wind noise. Dual power sunshades provide close-to 100% sun blockage inside, helping to keep the cabin cool.

You’ll take in everything from the “Active Comfort” of the leather-trimmed seats in Lincoln MKX. This new seat contour design allows you freedom to move with the vehicle, while still fitting smoothly and supportively around you.
