2003 MOBILITY PLUS PROGRAM
RULES & REGULATIONS

Program Period: January 1, 2003 through December 31, 2003
Eligible Vehicles: All new Ford or Lincoln vehicles sold or leased
and delivered during the program period.
Units receiving Fleet benefits are excluded
from this program.
The eligible vehicle must be purchased and registered
in the eligible consumer's name only.

Equipment:
Adaptive driving aids
or mobility assistance equipment:
• Wheelchair lifts or other lift equipment.
• Hand or other driving controls.
• Early Alert Response System (EARS)
  for the hearing impaired.
Any other claims are subject to the prior approval
of Ford of Canada

Modifications and
Equipment:
The purpose of the Mobility Plus Program
is to provide support for physically challenged
customers who require the installation of special
adaptive driving aids or mobility assistance
equipment to be able to drive or travel as a passenger
in their vehicle.
The program is not intended to provide financial
assistance for the purpose of additional comfort
or convenience.
The following modifications/equipment
are not eligible for reimbursement:
• Factory Options (air conditioning,
  tinted windows, etc.)
• Running Boards
• BackCycler Lumbar Products or similar

  back supports, rests, or massage units
Consult the Mobility Plus Hotline (l-800-565-8985)
for eligibility concerns.
Eligible Customers: Any Canadian resident who is physically challenged
and requires the installation of adaptive driving aids
or mobility assistance equipment.
Eligible customers must present a record of their
physically challenged condition in the form
of a doctor’s note or government certificate.
Program Benefits: Reimbursement of up to $1,000 for costs incurred
for adaptive driving aids or mobility assistance
equipment.
Vehicle modification must be completed
within six months of vehicle delivery.
Additive Benefits: Mobility Plus benefits are additive to most consumer
retail offers available from Ford of Canada at the time
of delivery.
Claiming Procedure: Dealers may manually claim Mobility Plus benefits
under Program #067 by returning a completed copy
of the Mobility Plus claim form along with supporting
documents (work order, invoice and doctors note)
to Dealer Claims Payment.
A completed copy of the claim form, signed
by the customer, must be kept at the dealership
for audit purposes.
Note: Mobility Plus claims will be paid to an
individual customer only. Claims made under
Company names Will be rejected and payment
will not be issued.
