 SPECIAL REBATE PROGRAMS
The New 2003 Ford Graduate Recognition Program
We are pleased to announce the new Ford of Canada Graduate Recognition Program for
2003. Continuing the success of last years expanded program, graduates are eligible
for a $1000 rebate on a new Ford or Lincoln vehicle.
Program Period:
- January 1, 2003 to December 31, 2003.
Eligible Vehicles
- All new current and prior model Ford cars and light trucks sold or leased and delivered
during the program period (excluding vehicles receiving Fleet Benefits or competitive
price allowances and A, X and Z Plan vehicles).
Program Rules:
PROGRAM PERIOD
Customers must purchase or lease their vehicle, and take delivery, between January 1,
2003 and December 31, 2003. Special-ordered vehicles must arrive, and eligible customers
must take delivery, by December 31,2003. Vehicles delivered after December 31, 2003 are
not eligible for the rebate.
GRADUATION ELIGIBILITY
Customers are eligible to take advantage of this offer if, between May 1, 2000 and
December 31, 2003, they:
- have graduated or will graduate from a university undergraduate degree program, or from
a two-year (48 weeks minimum) college program, or from a three-year CEGEP D.E.C. program
in Quebec
- have graduated from a recognized military or police academy
- are a full-time post-graduate student
INELIGIBLE VEHICLES
- Units delivered to the customer prior to January 1, 2003 and after December 31, 2003
- A, X, and Z Plan units
- Fleet vehicles
- All units sold outside of Canada
PROGRAM OFFER
There is a limit of ONE 2003 Graduate Recognition Program incentive offer per customer,
and only ONE Graduate Recognition Program incentive offer may be applied to a purchase or
lease. The Graduate Recognition Program offer may be used in conjunction with most other
Ford of Canada public consumer incentives, but not with any private offers, such as
certificates, coupons or A, X and Z plans, Employees of Ford Motor Company of Canada,
Limited and their relatives are not eligible for the Ford Graduate Recognition Program.
The vehicle must be purchased or leased and registered in the name of the graduating
student.
PROGRAM QUALIFICATIONS
All matters of program eligibility and qualification will be conclusively resolved by
Ford Motor Company of Canada, Limited.
Leasing and Financing from Ford Credit:
Customers may also qualify for No Down Payment and a 120-day Deferred First Payment
(not available in Quebec) on the purchase of any eligible vehicle in the program. The
120-day Deferred Payment can be a big help to graduates, as they may have some unusual
expenses after graduating and the job that theyve landed may not start immediately.
Certain restrictions apply. 120-day Deferred Payment is not available on low-APR
contracts.
2003 Young Drivers
Novice Grad Certificate Program
Young Drivers Novice Grad Certificate amounts for 2003 are indicated below:

- Excluding Harley-Davidson F-150, F-Series over F-550 and SVT vehicles.
Eligible Customers and Claiming Procedure:
- Customers who purchase or lease and take delivery of an eligible vehicle within
one year of graduating from a Young Drivers Novice Program.
- Customers who purchase or lease an eligible vehicle while participating in a
Young Drivers Novice Program (prior to graduation) will be eligible for the Young Drivers
Novice Grad Certificate Offer. Under this scenario, customers must return to your
dealership with their certificate after the successful completion of their Young Drivers
Novice Program to have their claim processed.
- Customers who graduate from an Advanced Collision Avoidance Program (1-day
course) are not eligible for this program.
Program Details:
- The Young Drivers Novice Grad Certificate Offer is redeemable toward the purchase
or lease of any new Ford of Canada car or light truck (excluding Harley-Davidson F-150,
F-Series over F-550 and SVT vehicles) prior to the expiry date listed on the program
certificate. Each certificate will have an expiry date depending on the individuals
date of graduation from a Young Drivers of Canada Novice Program.
- The Novice Grad Certificate Offer will be valid for one year from the date of
issue.
- The Novice Grad Certificate Offer is additive to most consumer incentives made
available by Ford of Canada at the time of customer purchase or lease, with the exception
of any other Customer Appreciation offer, Loyalty offer, Renewal Bonus offer, or the Ford
Graduate Recognition program.
- The Novice Grad Certificate Offer can only be redeemed once (prior to the expiry
date listed On the certificate).
- Only one Novice Grad Certificate Offer can be applied toward the purchase or
lease of an eligible vehicle.
- Benefits under this program are transferable to members of the eligible
customers immediate family with whom they are domiciled.
- The offer is subject to vehicle availability.
- The offer is not applicable to any fleet or government delivery. No mechanically
or otherwise reproduced certificates will be accepted.
- Certificate is not redeemable for cash.
Customer Mailing:
- Graduates of the Young Drivers of Canada Novice Program will receive a mailing
that includes the C&I offer towards the purchase or lease of a new Ford or Lincoln
vehicle. The mailing will be sent each month to students who graduate during the program
period.
